An Intimate City Centre Wedding - Kayleigh & Michael, St Georges Hall, Liverpool

Kayleigh & Michael had lovely, intimate wedding at St George's Hall in Liverpool last Thursday morning. It was just them, a few family members and some of their friends.   Michael is from New Zealand and Kayleigh moved out there when she was around 19 but both live in the UK at the moment.

After a short and sweet ceremony in the Rose Room, we had some family portraits on the steps outside and then headed in to St Johns Gardens for photos.  Some of Kayls & Mikes friends had quickly skuttled off to Home & Bargain and managed to get some confetti so we did a rather impromptu confetti shot in the gardens with prosecco in picnic wine glasses. It was so much fun!

Kayleigh works in the Central Library so after the gardens we headed there for some more portraits. Perks of the job eh ;)  Wow!! I couldn't believe i'd never even actually been in the library - it's AMAZING! So grand and so much going on inside.  The Picton Reading Room is a huge circular room with bookcases right around it and there's lots of little reading rooms and galleries just off the main part. Of course such an interesting place made for some great photos and I had capturing the newlyweds as they wandered round.

I love anything untraditional and so was totally in love with Kayleigh's dress and just how laid back and relaxed the morning was.  Some of your nearest and dearest, lots of fun and awesome surroundings. What more could you ask for?

Congratulations you two! It was such a fab morning and I was so glad to have been part of it <3
