A relaxed, Christmassy Liverpool City Centre Wedding
Feast your eyes on this absolutely glorious winter wedding of Leigh & Chloes! From the colours, the decor and the weather, everything was quintessentially winter and beautiful.
I first met Chloe, Leigh & their adorable pooch Fred last March for their engagement shoot after they’d booked me to shoot their wedding. We had a very chilly but fun morning on the beach in Wallasey and it made me even more excited for their wedding coz’ they were so lovely & laidback.
On the morning of their wedding, I met Chloe at the Shankly Hotel in Liverpool for bridal prep before we all went back over to Wallasey for the ceremony (check out the wedding car, oh my!!!). We then all headed back over to Liverpool and Leigh, Chloe and I had a wander around St Georges Hall and were even allowed a cheeky go on the carousel for some photos. Everybody met us at Meat, an Argentinian restaurant on Brunswick Street and the decor inside was so festive! It was the perfect venue for a totally relaxed, intimate reception!
A few weeks before their wedding, Chloe phoned me to say she’d had an idea about their first dance and wanted my thoughts. She wanted to go outside and have their guests form a circle around them with sparklers whilst their first dance played on a speaker. Uhhh HELL YES was my reaction and I suggested we go to Exchange Flags behind the Town Hall as I knew there would be space and hopefully Christmas lights or a Christmas tree - which there was, BINGO! and it was as magical as I thought it would be :) & so unique too!
